In our Zoology III study (land animals), we're been recording animal tracks. During our nature walks, we try to find and identify these tracks. If we don't recognize them, we try to draw them well enough to look them up later.
Since this is the first time for us to do nature study in snow, we were very pleased to discover the abundant signs of wildlife left behind in the snow. Here are a few pictures of their tracks that we found.
We think that these are deer tracks. The snow is deep so we figured maybe this one was dragging it's feet.
This one is a rabbit. We're pretty sure of this... but for those of you that are more familiar with animal tracks in snow, please share! 
Ah, this one took us by surprise. Tom said it must be a dinosaur bird. :-) Dave suggested these to be turkey prints. We settled on that. There are lots of turkey here. What a cool find! That's Taylor's hand in the picture.
And these would be dog prints. The shape of the front of the heel pad is a single lobe as opposed to a double as a cats prints would be. Also, the claw marks are shown here. Cats claws are retractable unless they are running, but this appears to be a meandering footprint. :-) No telling if this is a wild dog or domestic. 
We've seen many other tracks, but they've been sunk in so much that it's difficult for us to identify.
