Summer time means swim lessons for our family. Live Oak offers such a great deal! A two week session (3 days per week) costs $35. This year, we saved up and signed both of the kids up for all three sessions!

This is the first day of lessons. Daniel got to be in a big kid class. Last year, it was waterbabies, which means mom and baby together in the class. It was fun. Miss Julie taught this class. She was pretty good with them.

Time to float. The first day is always a little scary. He held on to Miss Julie really tight.
Have fun in the summer heat of SA this year. We're trying to avoid the 104 degree times. Wow.

We got to attend the Field of Dreams event this year as guests of the Boy Scouts in our troop. It was a lot of fun! We got to watch a game, which the Missions won! Then, there were fireworks put on by HEB. It was an excellent fireworks show! I was really impressed. Finally, we gathered our camping gear and set up camp on the field! How cool is that? They played a movie on the big screen. We sat with our popcorn and water and watched the movie as Tom slept in the tent. He was exhausted. :-) Taylor crashed soon after.
There had to have been over 100 campers out there! Oh... and we got breakfast in the morning. What a fun experience. :-) We plan to join them again next year.
